Book Features “Prominent” Mormon Women

A new book has come out that highlights character traits of one hundred different women of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The book, entitled “”Women of Character: Profiles of 100 Prominent LDS Women.”
The book includes church leaders, larger-than-life entertainers, doctors, politicians, athletes, educators, authors, artists, the second woman to serve as Treasurer of the United States, the co-anchor of CBS News’s “The Early Show” on the morning of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, and the historian who spent 15 years studying the Mountain Meadows Massacre after being a given a grant by the Rockefeller Foundation.
